Bev Sweatland of Holden and Bill Sweatland of Sterling announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Sweatland, to Marty Mullins.

Miss Sweatland is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, Storrs.

Mr. Mullins, the son of Gail and Ambrose Mullins of Swastika, Ontario, is a graduate of Sir Sanford Fleming College, Ontario.

An October wedding is planned.
