John P. Ormond and Elaine R. Ormond, both of Worcester, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly M. Ormond, to Gerard A. O'Malley.

Miss Ormond is a graduate of Grafton High School and Worcester State College, where she is also pursuing a master's degree in education. She is a first-grade teacher employed by Grafton Public Schools.

Mr. O'Malley, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. O'Malley of 21 Heywood St. Worcester, MA., is a graduate of North High School and Westfield State College. He is a state employee.

A July wedding is planned.
