Gerald Oppewall of 12-6 Thayer Pond Drive, North Oxford, MA, and Christine Adams of 56 Sylvan Road, Uxbridge, MA, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca L. Oppewall, to Christopher B. Griffiths.

Miss Oppewall is a graduate of Uxbridge High School, Uxbridge, MA and the Community College of Rhode Island in Lincoln. She is a student nurse at Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, MA.

Mr. Griffiths, the son of Barry Griffiths of 178 Chocolog Road, Uxbridge, MA., and Kathy Desjardin of 63 Hartford Ave., Uxbridge, MA, is a graduate of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocation Technical High School, Upton, MA. He is a member of UA Local 4 and is employed by William F. Lynch, Worcester, MA.
