Mr. and Mrs. John M. McInerney of 8 Clara St., Worcester, MA. announce the engagement of their daughter, Clare N. McInerney, to Steven A. Gentilucci.

Miss McInerney is a graduate of Burncoat High School, Merrimack College, North Andover, MA and received a master's degree in early childhood education from Lesley College, Cambridge, MA. She is a teacher and field hockey and softball coach at Burncoat High School. She is also woman's basketball coach at Merrimack College and teaches Irish step dancing at McInerney School of Irish Step Dancing.

Mr. Gentilucci, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Gentilucci of Somerset, N.J., is a graduate of WPI. He is superintendent of Consigli Construction in Milford, MA.

A June wedding is planned.
