Mr. and Mrs. Raymond G. Hurley Jr. of Bounty Road, Oxford, MA., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon E. Hurley, to Joseph M. Barca.

Miss Hurley is a graduate of Oxford High School and Wagner College, Staten Island, N.Y. She is a sixth-grade teacher in the Westboro, MA Public Schools.

Mr. Barca is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph D. Barca of Hanover, MA. He is a graduate of Stonehill College, Easton, MA. and received a master's degree in education at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA.  Mr. Barca is a seventh-grade teacher in the Westboro, MA Public Schools.

A July wedding  is planned.
