Charles E. and Maura L. Feeney announce the engagement of their daughter, Miriam E. Feeney, to Patrick J. Walsh.

Miss Feeney, a graduate of Boston College Carroll School of Management, Chestnut Hill, MA, is a buyer for Filene's, Boston, MA.

Mr. Walsh, the son of Stephen F. and Maryjane Walsh of 232 Church St., Northboro, MA, is a graduate of Brown University, Providence, RI., and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.H.
