Our goal is to make our content and special features useful to our brides and sponsors alike while protecting their privacy. REGISTRATION

InternetWeddingPlanner.Com (IWP) will ask for you to enter certain specific information when you register as a member. This information is necessary because of the interactivity of some of the features we provide now or in the future. This information needs to be collected for prize fulfillment, to track and verify compliance with IWP's policies and/or for feedback purposes as well as editorial use. We also use this information to customize your experience on our site. We use cookies (see explanation below) for the sole purpose of making your stay much easier and user friendly by asking you to fill in most of this information only once rather than having to re-enter it each time you visit our site. This information will NOT now or in the future, be sold to a third party without your consent.

OPTING OUT

Information provided at the time of registration from a member who is 13 years of age or older may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by InternetWeddingPlanner.Com and our affiliates or companies that have been prescreened by IWP. WE WILL NOT SELL your information to third parties. To keep you in control of your personal information and the communications directed to you, we allow you to opt out of the following services:

receiving communications (through the mail and email) from InternetWeddingPlanner.Com and its affiliates (sponsors) about new features and services
receiving communications (through the mail and email) about offers from third-party companies that offer a product or service that we think would be of value to you as a bride or groom.

If a member objects to such use for any reason, he or she may stop that use, either by email request to the Webmaster or by modifying his or her member information online at "edit profile." Should you change your mind or should some personal information change, you may simply edit your profile from the member start page.

OPEN AREAS

There are many areas on-site that are open and free for anyone visiting IWP. Most do not request or require inputting personal information, therefore nothing is stored. The most the open areas will request would be the zip code of the visitor, and that is so we can direct you to the most logical area of request, but please note, this too is not stored at our site.

IP ADDRESSES

An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you're surfing the Web. Web servers-the computers that "serve up" Web pages-automatically identify your computer by its IP address.

InternetWeddingPlanner.Com does collect the IP addresses of it's visitors for the sole purpose of system administration. It is used for demographics information supplied to our sponsors and to maintain the tracking and visitor use of our site. We do not intentionally link IP addresses to personal information which means we will not log a visitor's session. We do use it to track from page to page so we know the most popular flow of page opening and reading. We have the ability and will use the means if we need to identify a user that we feel is not compiling with our site rules and regulations and terms of use, or to protect our services, site, customers, sponsors or others associated with IWP.

This means that we may report that "X" percent of IWP's members are grooms, "X" percent are brides, "X" percent are visitors, etc. This information and data is used to plan and customize our content to help provide a better and more friendly experience for our members and users.

Users should be aware that when they are on InternetWeddingPlanner.Com they could be directed to other sites outside our site and service area that are beyond our control.
